The 24 Traditional Chinese Solar Terms Winter Solstice, We Ate Hotpot Together

The winter solstice is one of the twenty-four solar terms in China. It means that the Chinese New Year is coming soon. Yesterday, everyone in our company ate hotpot to celebrate this festival. In fact, whether to eat dumplings or glutinous rice balls in the winter solstice has always been a topic of controversy. Because of the different geography and customs in China, most of northern China eat dumplings. Southern China eats glutinous rice balls. But they both wish a smooth and beautiful new year, reunion and happiness.
